How To: Get a Better Stretch

A lot of dancers stretch before class, when their bodies are cold. A better idea is to stretch in the middle of class or right after class when your body is all warmed up. Your muscles will be looser, so you will be able to stretch further with less risk of injury. In addition, stretching your muscles after working out keeps you from bulking up, so you can retain the long slim dancer look.
